When we first opened our first Smoothie King location nearly 50 years ago, we did so with a fundamental mission: helping our guests live a healthy and active lifestyle. While our brand has evolved, that mission remains unchanged.
We’ve updated our menu to be cleaner and more transparent while making sure each new blend serves a specific purpose. One of the most recent and biggest brand transformations has been the technology we use to ensure we effectively and efficiently deliver on that mission.

Clean Blends
We pride ourselves on fresh ingredients that are truly nutritious. We use whole fruits and organic vegetables in our smoothies. Our journey took over 5 years, over 15,000 hours of research and development, and over 150 changes, additions or reformulations of our ingredients — all in an effort to ensure our smoothies are better for our guests yet are just as delicious as they remember them.
As part of our Clean Blends Promise, we do not use harmful or unhealthy ingredients or preservatives. We even have an official No-No List of the ingredients we do not use at our stores. This list includes but is not limited to;no high fructose corn syrup, no hydrogenated oils,no added hormones in our dairy, no GMO in our fruits and veggies, no gluten,no NSF banned substances, no trans fats, and no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
In addition, several of our blends, have no sugar added and we also make a continuous effort to keep our menu fresh, bringing on new blends and innovative concepts.

It’s not just about what goes into our smoothies, but we also focus on why we use the ingredients we do. With our variety of menu options and ingredient choices, we make smoothies that are tailored to each guest’s nutritional needs.
For instance, our Daily Warrior blend is packed with protein, fiber, calcium, iron, and potassium for those who are in need of extra autoimmune support. Meanwhile, our Vegan Mixed Berry blend is one of our many plant-based options that offers plenty of fiber and protein and is geared at helping guests fuel their overall health.

Between our drive-thru stores, curbside pick-up and delivery through DoorDash, our guests have so many options for satisfying their daily nutritional needs.
Our Healthy Rewards app and our website makes it simple for guests to order from their mobile device, skip the line, find their nearest location, enjoy a birthday smoothie on us, and earn and redeem points to save on their favorite blends!

In addition to the convenience aspect of all these ordering options, we take speed seriously. Smoothie King team members are trained on how to whip up our flavorful blends precisely and quickly – in less than three and half minutes, in fact.
